Alana De La Garza's beauty has left an impression on small screens. De La Garza is a gorgeous actress, born 1977 in Columbus Ohio to a Mexican American dad and an Irish American mom. De La Garza moved soon to Texas and studied in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas and moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles such as local independent films and international commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from finding out that she loved acting. When she moved from New York, in 2001 she got her first part as a performer on All My Children. De La Garza had the privilege of working alongside some great TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. Her most memorable role came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on for 85 of the episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she won an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments later. She was Marisol Deko, Horatio his wife. In the role of Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. After a couple of episodes the show ended up being cancelled.
